Midsummer Circle

  • Swan Creek Dog Park 2106 E 44th St, Tacoma, WA 98404 (map)

What: Join other members of the local Tacoma pagan community to celebrate the Summer Solstice! No experience needed, all ages and all paths are welcome. This is a free event; donations accepted.

When: Sunday, June 21 2026 from 11-3 pm. We will gather at 11 am and start at 12 pm; please plan to arrive before we begin the ritual at 12 pm.

Where: Swan Creek Dog Park. Enter via T street, park in the dog park parking area, and walk down the central path toward the picnic area in the center of the park (see map):

What to bring:

  • First and foremost, yourself - with an open heart and open mind.

  • Bring a waterbottle and a small cup for Sumbel (libation)

  • Bring a mat, blanket, cushion or chair to sit on. We will be working in a grassy meadow area; prepare accordingly if you have difficulty standing for an extended time. We may have access to the nearby first come first serve picnic shelter if it is not reserved that day.

  • Outside of that, listen to your heart and bring what you feel called to bring. This could be an item of power such as rocks, crystals, feathers, a tarot/oracle deck or other divination tool, an offering for the land, water or a snack to share - these are just a few ideas.

Important Note:

We all walk the pagan path in our own individual ways; let us gather in peace and acceptance of one another’s beliefs, traditions and gnosis. Leave outside stress, rivalries and conflicts at home; politics, hate speech, and inflammatory speech of any kind will not be tolerated. Do not bring alcohol or weapons of any kind (staves are okay but leave your blades at home). Please help us co-create a safe, welcoming environment for all who attend.
